Hello, my name is Doris B, and I have been a carer and worked in NHS for over ten years. As a female carer, I have experience in a variety of care types, including hourly care. My attributes include being caring, friendly, and helpful, which help me form bonds with my clients.
I am motivated to help people lead independent lives, and my experience in helping others has allowed me to specialize in skills like bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and companionship. I have experience caring for individuals with mild cognitive impairment, those who are bedbound, have Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression.
During my spare time, I enjoy walking, playing card games, cooking & baking, socializing with friends, and playing board games. I love cats and dogs, so I am quite comfortable around pets. Although I can drive, I do not own a car.
